A proposal to develop the Teesside WW Course has been put forward to attract funding to update the course.
Outline Proposals include : the provision of pumps in order to prolong the operating times of the course : increased water flows (up to 14 cm3) : new obstacles : re-sculpting some areas to give additional features (including an international standard Freestyle Feature).
If the funding is achieved it is vital that paddlers have some input into final designs.
If you have any views or ideas lets have them! Nows your chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Changing The Design Dose That Mean Its Open More And Longer ?
Slalom Training takes place Mo & Wed evenings from 5.30 pm. Fri evening sessions depend upon what events are on that particular weekend. Many paddlers travel on Fri nights.. If not tel the ctr for details.
Plans have been submitted and are presently under consideration.Plans include Pumps (increase in course opening times with increased water flows ) re- sculpting & new bollarding system - to increase the number of water features. The overall theme is to extend the use of the course for both play boaters and slalom paddlers. The design team includes paddlers as well as engineers etc.
